Alex Nelson

With over 25 years of business development experience, Alex has spent his career building relationships and leading teams across a variety of industries, which include biotech, software and professional services. In his role as the Practice Development Director at KBF, Alex is responsible for new client acquisition, building strategic partnerships and enhancing client engagement through educational events and tactical marketing activities.

Prior to joining KBF, Alex spent the previous decade as the Managing Director of a regional consulting firm specializing in accounting and finance. Prior to that, he was the Vice President of Sales & Marketing for an emerging growth software company focused on the medical industry.

Alex holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Marketing from the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona. He previously spent six years on the Board of Directors at the Friends of Doernbecher Children’s Hospital serving as the Board Member Relations Chair and was the Finance Leadership Exchange Chair for the Technology Association of Oregon.
