Carole J. Trent

Carole (known as Jodi) joined KBF CPAs in November of 2012, bringing over 20 years of experience in public accounting. She is an active member of the firm’s Family Financial Services and Expatriate Tax practices, dividing her time between offices in the Bay Area, Southern California, and Pacific Northwest. The experience she gained from a 5+ year rotation in Europe enhances her ability to relate to her clients and help them navigate through the unknown.

Jodi has extensive knowledge in compliance and consulting for individuals with inbound and outbound international taxation issues. She also has a network of U.S. service providers that can assist with immigration, banking, relocation, insurance, legal structuring and/or compensation services.

Jodi’s experience includes assistance in structuring inbound and outbound operations for small & middle market clients moving individuals abroad to take advance of the global economy. She also helps in structuring and implementing expatriate programs and policies as well as international payroll consulting and compliance. Jodi also handles compliance and consulting for individuals and their closely held investments.
