Laura Bergstrom

Laura has over two decades of experience in the corporate tax accounting space in both public accounting and industry. She is a seasoned professional focused in accounting for income taxes (ASC 740). Her clients range in size from publicly-traded Fortune 500 companies to start-ups in industries including manufacturing, retail & consumer, technology and biotech. Additionally, Laura assists her clients with federal tax compliance and consulting, including consolidated returns, mergers and acquisitions, accounting methods and stock-based compensation analysis.

Prior to joining KBF in 2020, Laura spent 9 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Portland office and 6 years as an in-house Tax Director for publicly-traded corporations.

Laura holds a Master’s degree from the University of Minnesota and is a Certified public Accountant in the State of Oregon. Laura is active in the Oregon Society of CPAs, having previously served as a Board of Director and the current Chair of the Professional Conduct (Ethics) Committee.
