Gregory A. Fletcher
Greg joined the KBF team as a partner in the Portland office in June 2005 to focus on growing the audit practice in the Pacific Northwest. In addition to serving the mainline full-service audit practice, he heads the firm’s GAAP consulting and advisory practice, focusing on both publicly traded and privately held companies by assisting with technical accounting and SEC reporting requirements. Prior to joining KBF, Greg was at several of the Big 4 firms, rising to senior manager.
Greg consults on numerous technical accounting areas including purchase accounting assistance, audit assistance projects, SEC reporting, and internal controls and process reviews. Working as a liaison between the Big 4 audit firms and their clients on these technical accounting areas has allowed Greg to develop and maintain a level of technical proficiency uncommon in non-Big 4 firms.
Greg has assisted with SEC reporting and general consulting for many companies that were ultimately successful in obtaining effective S-1 registration statements and becoming publicly traded entities. Greg has performed numerous purchase accounting assistance projects for companies ranging in size from $10 million to $800 million. With his strong technology practice background, including software and SaaS clientele, Greg has been able to assist clients in their business practices with best practice insights in the industry.
The Pacific Northwest audit practice serves both middle market privately held clients as well as venture-backed emerging market clientele, both of which build on Greg’s Big 4 experience. Greg has a strong industry background in software, SaaS, technology, biotech, and manufacturing.
Greg spends his time away from work playing golf and with his wife Lori, and three sons.
