Julie has an extensive background in public accounting, specializing in ASC 740 Accounting for Income Taxes. Her clients include publicly traded companies, private equity, and venture-backed businesses, as well as start-ups in a wide range of industries. Julie’s tax accounting skills are complemented by significant experience with federal tax compliance and consulting, including consolidated returns, mergers and acquisitions, and stock-based compensation analysis. Despite the complexities of the tax provision process, Julie is dedicated to making it as seamless as possible for her clients.
Julie joined KBF in 2014 after more than eight years of experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers' San Diego office.
An Alumna of the University of Washington, Julie holds a Master’s degree in Professional Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. Julie is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of California.
